Mohammed Muigai is organised into four departments: the Litigation and Arbitration Department is involved in day to day litigation before the Kenya  Courts, tribunals both domestic and international and represents clients in arbitrations and before regulators; the Real Estate Transactions Department deals with Land and Conveyancing transactions including: transfers, conveyances, leases, sale agreements and subdivisions.
The department also advises on change of user and negotiations of securities such as charges and mortgages; the Legal Advisory and Consultancy Group focuses on providing  consultancy services to government, private and public institutions on statutory and regulatory reform; and the Commercial Transactions Department provides a wide range of Transaction advisory services to clients including undertaking due diligence exercises, negotiating restructurings, advising on public listing, rights issues, asset sales and financing through single lender or syndicate loans.
